Numina is honored to participate in the 2020 Transit Tech Lab, a public-private partnership led by Partnership for New York City and New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, including Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, NJ TRANSIT, New York City Department of Transportation, and Amtrak.
As one of its open challenges, Transit Tech Lab this year asked:
How can transit agencies reduce traffic by increasing coordination at the curb?
Our team has made its mission to empower cities with data to become more responsive and equitable, with a focus on advancing transportation equity. It is a special opportunity and joy to collaborate in solving large-scale, intermodal traffic safety and efficiency challenges with our very own local agencies: New York City Transit, NJ TRANSIT, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The curb is a critical interface between cities, transportation agencies, mobility services, and citizens of all walks (and rolls and rides!). We’re excited to show the power of granular, anonymous street-level data to make our region more accessible, navigable, and livable.
